We are:

The Canadian Bully kennel Club (CBKC), proudly opened as an educational source for the American Bully in 2020 and officially opened as a registry in 2021. We have dedicated ourselves to becoming Canada’s first established American Bully registry for pure bred Bullies. Here at CBKC we are a membership only club that currently recognizes solely the American Bully and will be working hard to expand our registry to other pure bred bull breeds. CBKC is a non-profit corporation that is committed to educating our community on the American Bully, responsible ownership, guidance to breeders to encourage ethical breeding that meets the standard, and to bringing positive awareness of the breed to our nation. By committing to these goals, CBKC will be able to secure the advancement of the American Bully in an upright, prestigious manner.

The Canadian Bully Kennel Club is a federally incorporated entity that registers pure bred American Bullies that have been registered at other recognized registries or that have preferably been DNA tested to prove and maintain the purity of our brood stock. We have held our first official CBKC confirmation dog show and will continue to hold confirmation shows. These confirmation shows are to help evaluate our brood stock and assist our community with maintaining proper breed standard. We are excited with our steady expansion that will include offering working class events for the working dog, workshops and various seminars lead by Embarks leading scientists and specialists on the American Bully.

We stand together with all Canadians in the fight against Bred Specific Legislation (BSL). Speaking on behalf of our community regarding the challenges affecting, owners, breeders, dogs and their well-being is something our kennel club will continue to be a platform for.

Here at CBKC it is our mission to become a registry that all of our members can be proud of.  

It is not only the Canadian Bully Kennel Clubs mission to establish the American Bully as a recognized breed in Canada but to also remove the BSL that currently affects the breed. Our love for the American Bully is what compels us to realize this mission. We know the road is long but we believe it can be done. Collectively there is so much we can achieve together. Educating our nation is a crucial step in changing the stereo-type that will change the narrative on the American Bully.
